FT Retail Sales Consultant

This isn't your average Retail role, as outreach and community are a big part of our Store initiative! Do you enjoy supporting small and local businesses? You’ll actively reach out to your local community and will also assist customers during appointments. Is volunteer work important to you? You can help local charities promote and get the word out! Is there a community group or event you think would benefit from custom products? Reach out and offer assistance! Our Consultants have the ability to truly impact their community.

 

You’ll also assist customers who book appointments by creating designs, choosing products, setting up orders, and determining the best distribution method for their creation. Our stores are showrooms that allow our customers to connect with products they are interested in and have you advise how to bring their design to life!

 

How you’ll make a difference: 

You’ll be our customers’ Custom Ink guide from beginning to end, working to satisfy their custom gear needs all while building relationships that keep them coming back again and again. Additionally, you’ll demonstrate knowledge of Custom Ink’s merchandise, printing process, technology platform, and delivery options while working to maintain company standards of merchandise presentation, retail signage, and store displays. 

  • Advise customers and share the value of an end product that is special and tailored to their needs

  • Be knowledgeable and leverage the awesome tools Custom Ink provides to deliver top-notch custom products

  • Strike a balance of sales skills and authentic interest in each customer interaction

  • You have a passion for driving relationship-based sales with the long term outcome of repeat business and customer loyalty

 

How you’ll be evaluated

  • You're ready to proactively engage with members of the community to develop your business through in-person, phone, and email outreach

  • Your ability to provide a pre and post-order experience we deem “WOW!” worthy: meaning to you, expectations are just a guideline! You aim to exceed expectations and surprise customers in a good way.   

  • You’re able to maintain high levels of accuracy by documenting customer notes quickly and keeping up to date on company offerings and products

  • You’re ready to plan and participate in community events 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • You have a passion for driving relationship-based sales with the long-term outcome of repeat business and customer loyalty. You follow up with customers and use their feedback to promote sales

  • You comfortably and proactively reach out to past and potential customers by phone, email or in-person

  • You have a true love for the local community. You seek and discover ways to work with our Fundraising Team and participate in essential events in the community to enhance brand awareness 

  • You are knowledgeable when it comes to computers and technology and can work remotely, if needed (access to high-speed internet) 

  • Flexible availability in line with our goals of providing best possible coverage to our customers. Varying schedules available to meet the needs of our customers and provide the best possible coverage.

  • Bilingual - Spanish speakers a plus
