Member Services Manager

One of the state’s fastest growing business advocacy organizations is seeking a highly-organized, people-person to join our team as our Member Services Manager.

In this role you’ll be cultivating membership engagement and supporting chamber initiatives through customer service, social media, event planning and volunteer engagement to help serve our 900+ business and nonprofit members.

This is a fast-paced job where you’ll interact daily with top executives, small business owners, nonprofits and elected leaders in support of our communities’ post-covid recovery and our region’s economic and cultural vitality.

As member services manager you’ll help new and future members navigate a wide variety of benefits, networking opportunities and other chamber programs. Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: general office admin, customer service, managing the chamber’s social media and web presence, database management, supporting various chamber initiatives and committees, and assisting with the planning and execution of the chamber’s popular programs and events (both virtual and in person).

We’re a small – but very busy – team that really enjoys each other’s company. Ability to prioritize, follow directions, think creatively and cheerfully are all super important. Excellent writing, interpersonal and computer skills are needed too, as is comfort with social media.
Most of your work week will occur during normal business hours, with occasional early morning or early evening events. You must be available to attend events and commute to our Needham office, but we do offer hybrid/ remote work flexibility for a large percent of your time. You must be fully vaccinated against covid-19.

This is a full-time position with an annual compensation range of $49,000 - $56,000; actual hourly rate will reflect level of experience and qualifications relative to position requirements.  Includes medical, dental and 401K.

We’re one of the 10-largest chambers of commerce in Massachusetts and just completed a re-brand in 2021 to continue to grow and expand services to businesses and nonprofits in Newton, Needham, Watertown, Wellesley and throughout Boston’s inner western suburbs.
