Description
The covid-19 pandemic has had an outsized impact on the lives of working women – at all ages and stages of their careers. As we look ahead to the return to “normal”, it’s an opportunity to consider what we – as employers and as individuals – should be focusing on in order to support and cultivate more opportunities for women in the post-pandemic workplace.
Drawing on findings from a recently published executive briefing “Women's Career Advancement Programs: Optimizing Efforts for Better Results” Keila Vinas, Ed. D., Lead author and Fellow, and Tina Lawler McHugh, Author and Senior Research Associate of the Boston College Center for Work & Family will discuss key elements of a successful women's advancement strategy, how the current COVID crisis has impacted these efforts, and what to consider as we focus on supporting and advancing working women moving forward.
Business owners, employees and individuals of all genders are encouraged to join us for this important conversation, organized by the chamber’s Women’s Impact Network.
