Description
On August 20th, we lost our dear friend Sam Cornish and the world lost a revered poet, a gifted teacher, a mentor, and so much more.
On February 24th, we will gather together with Sam’s family, friends, former students & faculty, and poets to honor Sam. Present will be:
Charles Coe: Poet, prose writer, teacher of writing, and a musician
Vin Dorio and Elizabeth Quinlin: Carpenter Poets of Jamaica Plain
DeWitt Henry: Professor Emeritus Emerson College, Founding editor of Ploughshares
Doug Holder: Somerville Times Columnist, Editor of Ibbetson Press
