Description
Incidents of sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace have been front and center in the news for many months. An allegation of improper conduct can have catastrophic impacts on an employer and its employee(s), including lawsuits (with personal liability), negative morale, loss of productivity and scathing media coverage. Attorneys Elizabeth Adler and Nancy Perlman of Beacon Law Group will help you to understand what is sometimes a fine line between permissible and impermissible speech and conduct. They will advise as to proactive steps employers can take that are designed to reduce the occurrence of workplace misconduct, and nip situations in the bud as they arise.
Registration and coffee begin at 8:30, presentation to begin promptly at 9 a.m.
