Description
Many adult children are becoming increasingly concerned about the well-being of their aging parents, especially as many are facing prolonged isolation and loneliness due to the pandemic.
Over the years, Julie Norstrand has worked with families to help them initiate conversations with their parents as to their future long-term care. Too often families wait till the medical crisis occurs, and all 'hell' breaks loose. Instead, her motto is to become a proactive caregiver...in other words, plan ahead for caregiving.
The goal of this zoom event is to provide a forum for you to gain knowledge about warning signs of when it is time to step in, learn ways to initiate the 'conversation' and how to find resources in your community. This zoom event will be open to adult children who are facing concerns around how to initiate the conversation with their parents.
