Massachusetts is emerging as the center of the Biotech industry with life sciences companies starting and growing here at a rapid rate. But as Kendall Square’s vacancy rate hovers around one percent and even a single bench costing $4600 a month, how can Boston’s inner suburbs offer something enticing as well? We’ll begin with a presentation from Travis McCready, President and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and follow with a panel discussion focused on the plus and minuses of the suburbs and the steps necessary next steps to create an environment that draws life sciences companies to Newton and Needham.
