Needham Harvest Fair returns Sunday Oct. 3

After a year hiatus, the Needham fall Harvest Fair will be returning to the Needham Town Common on Sunday October 3 from noon-4 p.m. Organized by the Charles River Regional Chamber (formerly the Newton-Needham Chamber) the long-standing tradition showcases local businesses and community organizations while celebrating the fall season with seasonal treats and attractions.

Over 60 Needham-based exhibitors will be participating in the event, which is presented in partnership with the Needham Farmers Market and with underwriting support by Needham Bank and Direct Federal Credit Union.

Harvest Fair - Pumpkin PatchCondon Realty will once again be filling the Town Common with a free pumpkin patch (while supplies last!). Attendees can shop for seasonal produce at the farmers market, or satisfy their cravings with bites from Abbott’s Frozen Custard, Hearth Pizzeria, The James Pub & Provisions and Dunkin’/The Needham General Store. Local merchants, businesses and nonprofits from across Needham will gather to build community awareness about their organizations and showcase their goods and services. Many of the exhibitors will offer free giveaways and have special treats at their tables.

Harvest Fair - Hearth PizzeriaSome accommodations did take place this year - there will be fewer, more spaced out booths due to COVID and structural changes on Town Common. And, some favorite activities like the trolley rides are not taking place. However, the chamber has been working closely with the Town of Needham to ensure a safe environment for exhibitors and attendees while producing a fun-filled day for residents of all ages.

The Charles River Regional Chamber’s Needham Harvest Fair will take place on Town Common and Chapel Street from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 3. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by Needham Bank, Direct Federal Credit Union, Brookline Bank, GEICO, Fidelity Bank and Briarwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
