Chamber welcomes three new directors
Come January, there will be new faces around the table at the monthly meeting of the chamber’s board of directors. With several current directors stepping down due to term limits, three new directors were appointed to the board at the Nov. 10 annual meeting.
Bruce A. Gold, CPA, MBA, MST served for 30 years as managing partner of his Newton based CPA practice, Gold & Goldberg, LLP before becoming a principal at Abrams Little-Gill Loberfeld PC in 2010 upon the retirement of his partner, Leonard J. Goldberg. Bruce’s commitment to Newton’s civic and business community includes 14 years on the City of
Newton Economic Development Commission, chair of the Newton Centre Subcommittee and former treasurer of the Newton Schools Foundation. Locally, Bruce has also served as past president of the Temple Emanuel Newton Brotherhood as well as a former treasurer and trustee of Temple Emanuel.
