The City of Newton holds its annual Harvest Fair Sat. Oct. 19 and Sun. Oct. 20 in Newton Centre (Beacon and Centre Streets). The weekend kicks off with amusement rides from 10-5 on Saturday. The next day, from 10-5, the rides continue joined by 100 crafters, exhibitors, bands, and performers. There'll be free pumpkins to paint and plenty of restaurants and food trucks.
