Description
The Walk for INDEPENDENCE is a family friendly day that brings the entire community together. The day kicks off with one- and three-mile walks around the amazing neighborhoods of Newton Center. Bring along your guide dog or family pets - all are welcome to enjoy a cookout, great music, accessible games, giveaways, and much more. All of the activities offer unique opportunities for both sighted and visually impaired people to participate. Create a team and make an even bigger impact! This event is fun for the whole family and celebrates how active blind and visually impaired people can be. As neighbors within the community, this event brings all who attend closer to understanding our differences.
